Country availability

How your country of residence determines which programs you can join.

What this is

Every program shows an availability status based on your country of residence as recorded on your Profile page: "Available in your country," "Availability not yet determined," or "Not yet available in your country."

Why it matters

Some countries require additional review or are not currently supported for affiliate participation, and some merchants restrict their programs to specific countries. This check protects you from applying to a program you are not eligible to join.

How it works

  1. On your Profile page, the Country of residence field may show a hint that "This country may require additional review" if your selected country needs it.
  2. On the Marketplace and each program page, a colored notice shows the result: a green-tinted notice means available, a neutral notice means undetermined because the merchant has not published enough country configuration yet, and a red-tinted notice means unavailable.
  3. Undetermined availability does not block your application. Only a definite "unavailable" result stops you from applying.
  4. If you change your country of residence on your Profile page, that change is recorded on your account for review purposes.

What happens next

If a program is unavailable in your country, you will not be able to submit an application to it, and the Apply control will explain why. If your country requires review, your account can still function normally, but an administrator may follow up.

Common mistakes

Do not enter an inaccurate country of residence to work around an availability restriction. Country of residence is used for eligibility checks and is recorded when changed.

In short

Country availability is checked automatically from your profile against each program's settings, and only a clear "not available" result blocks an application.
