Campaign and dynamic creatives
How campaign-linked and always-updating dynamic creatives work for affiliates.
What this is
Some creatives in your Creative Library are grouped under a merchant campaign, shown as an extra label on the creative's card. Some creatives are also marked "dynamic," meaning the merchant can update the underlying image or content without changing the address you already published.
Why it matters
A dynamic creative's "Always fresh image address" never needs to be replaced on your site or channel even if the merchant updates the artwork behind it later, saving you from re-publishing content every time a promotion changes.
How to do it
- In Creative Library, look for a campaign name shown after the program name and type on any creative card, for example "Program Name | Image or banner | Campaign Name."
- For a creative marked as dynamic, click "Get my tracking link" as usual.
- Two addresses appear: the regular tracking link, and an "Always fresh image address." Use the always-fresh address specifically where you want the image itself to always show the merchant's latest approved version.
- Copy each address using its dedicated Copy button.
- Check the creative's "Available until" date if one is shown; a campaign or creative can still expire even if it is dynamic.
What happens next
If the merchant updates a dynamic creative's image, anywhere you used the always-fresh address will automatically show the new version, with no action needed from you. Clicks that flow through the always-fresh address are still tracked back to your account the same as any other creative tracking link.
Common mistakes
Do not confuse the "Always fresh image address" with the regular tracking link. The regular link is for click-through promotion; the always-fresh address is specifically for embedding an image that should update automatically.
In short
Campaigns group related creatives together, and dynamic creatives give you a permanent image address that always reflects the merchant's latest approved artwork.
