Business profile and verification

What this is

The Business page holds your merchant organization's legal and public information. The Verification page tracks the review of that information by Diversified Affiliates.

Why it matters

Affiliates see a verified badge on merchant profiles that pass review. Verification is a manual review by Diversified Affiliates personnel, not something you can grant yourself, and it reflects information as of the review date only.

How to do it

1. On the Business page, if you have not created a business yet, work through the onboarding steps: business identity (legal name, entity type, country, EIN or tax identifier), business information (description, categories, affiliate country support), and program intent.
2. Once your business exists, use the same page to edit legal name, address, contact details, and which contact fields are public. The EIN or tax identifier can only be changed afterward through the secure Change EIN workflow, since it is masked once saved.
3. Go to the Verification page. It lists any outstanding items such as a missing legal name, entity type, EIN, address, phone, email, website, description, or business category.
4. Once nothing is outstanding, click Submit for verification (or Resubmit for review if you were previously asked for more information).
5. Track status and reviewer notes on the same page, along with a full verification history.

What happens next

Your status shows as Pending, Submitted, Verified, Rejected, or a reverification request, depending on the reviewer's decision. Verified organizations display the statement "Verified by Diversified Affiliates on [date]" to affiliates.

Common mistakes

Do not expect verification instantly after submitting. Only authorized Diversified Affiliates personnel can grant, remove, or change verification status.
