Inviting affiliates and the directory

What this is

The Directory page lets you browse affiliates who opted into merchant discovery and invite them directly to a specific program.

Why it matters

Instead of waiting for affiliates to find and apply to your program, you can proactively reach out to affiliates whose audience fits.

How to do it

1. Open Directory and use the search box to look up affiliates by display name.
2. Select a program from the dropdown; only programs that are Diversified Affiliates approved and in an active or paused status appear here.
3. Optionally filter by payment compatibility: Payment match, Payment setup needed, or No payment match.
4. Optionally add a message (up to 1000 characters) that will be included with each invitation.
5. Review each affiliate's country and payment compatibility badges, then click Invite to Program. The button is disabled if the affiliate's country is marked unavailable or if no program is selected.

What happens next

The invited affiliate receives the invitation and can accept it from their own workspace. Affiliates who previously withdrew from your program can still be invited again.

Common mistakes

Do not skip selecting a program before inviting; without one, the compatibility checks are not run and the affiliate cannot be invited.
